Mental Health Practices in Schools: Online Master's or Educational Specialist Degree

Courses may be taken individually as a post-baccalaureate (formerly non-degree) student or as part of a master’s degree.
The mental health practices in schools online courses are interactive, semester-long courses. Courses are based on a weekly format that includes lecture, assignments, text readings and discussion. Students can choose the most convenient times to complete course work within the week, being mindful of weekly deadlines.

Courses for EdSp program
30 hours
To earn the educational specialist degree, you complete 30 credit hours from among the courses listed above for the M Ed. At least 5 courses must be at the 8000 level, and all Ed. S. students must take a research methods course. Your adviser will help you select the appropriate courses to fit your educational and professional experience and interests.
Note: Enrolling in a course does not provide acceptance into the degree program. Students who are applying course credit toward a degree must be accepted into the degree program before they finish twelve hours of course work.
