Post-baccalaureate students

Some students may be allowed to start taking courses toward their degree while they are in the process of applying to the degree program.

Professionals with three years of experience as well as an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 may enroll in up to six hours of course work prior to degree program admission upon approval of the graduate adviser, Amy Lenk. This allows an opportunity for students to start work on their degree while they are completing requirements for admission to the program.

Students who choose this option are required to e-mail, fax or mail a resume to Amy Lenk, graduate adviser, and request permission to enroll (e-mail, fax and mail information for Amy Lenk is located under Contact Information.

All post-baccalaureate students who are new to MU will be required to provide an official copy of their undergraduate transcript (showing degree and completion date) at time of enrollment. To facilitate enrollment, a copy may be faxed to 573-882-5071 if we receive a mailed copy within the first month of enrollment. Address official transcripts to: MU Direct: Continuing and Distance Education, University of Missouri-Columbia, 102 Whitten Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.
