Admissions criteria
- Bachelor’s degree
- three years of professional experience in the journalism field
- Undergraduate GPA: 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
- Graduate Record Exam score (GRE): verbal plus quantitative total of at least 1000
- Students whose GPAs and GRE scores do not meet the requirements will be evaluated individually.
You have two options for admission to the program:
- Immediate program admission: This option requires students to be fully accepted into the degree program before they begin taking classes.
- Enrolling in courses before admission to the program: This option allows a student to try out the online environment by enrolling in a course as a post-baccalaureate (formerly non-degree-seeking) student before admission. Please contact Amy Lenk for more information.
