Looking for a career change?
If you have an educational background that does not include a bachelor’s in social work, this program works well for you! You will enter the 60-hour master’s program with a cohort of others who have “regular” standing and who together are learning the core concepts of the social work field. Learn more about the social work profession.
The next step for BSW students
If you already have earned a bachelor’s degree in social work, our 39-credit-hour “advanced” standing master’s option prepares you for leading career opportunities with courses that build on your undergraduate education. (Note: Advanced-standing students must have earned their BSW within the last seven years from a school that is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The program has additional requirements. See the School of Social Work's admission requirements for more information.
