New Post-Baccalaureate (non-degree) Graduate Student Admissions
Students interested in enrolling in individual, graduate-level courses without applying to a specific degree program may enroll through MU Direct as a post-baccalaureate (formerly non-degree-seeking) student. MU Direct facilitates the post-baccalaureate admission process by allowing students to complete the MU Direct enrollment form which admits and registers them in their initial semester. After a student has been admitted to the University as a post-baccalaureate student, this form is used to complete the enrollment process each semester. NO application fee is required.

Note: Post-baccalaureate students are not admitted to a specific degree program and do not qualify for federal financial aid. MU will require an official transcript when a post-baccalaureate student applies to a degree program.
Transcript requirements
To receive graduate credit at the University of Missouri-Columbia, students are required to provide a baccalaureate transcript from an accredited institution. The transcripts must include the official degree conferred and the date the degree was awarded.
To avoid delayed enrollment, MU Direct may accept faxed or photocopied versions of transcripts for non-degree-seeking students. Enrollment forms will be processed after the transcript is received.
If the undergraduate degree is from MU, or if an official copy of the bachelor's degree transcript is already on file, the student may enroll for graduate credit.
Note: MU will require an official transcript when a post-baccalaureate student applies to a degree program.
